Vision: The vision of this piece is clear, especially with Italy crying, giving HRE wings, and the ethereal appearance of the area between HRE and the grass.

Originality: This piece is amazing. I have not seen anything like this in an artwork before. The closest I've seen to this concept is in the Hetalia game 'Death of the Rose'. The idea of adding wings to 'Holy' Rome was brilliant.

Technique: Your simplicity gives a greater impact to the focal points of the piece and while there are areas that can be improved, overall the piece is spectacular. For the areas of improvement, you could do to have a bit more detail to the grass, simply to make it less of random lines to more of 1/2 is a darker green (away from light source) and 1/2 is lighter green. This is simply due to how the colors of the lines of grass seems to contrast and it draws the viewer's attention away from the focus on the character. However, this is a definite impact. Your work with the sky in the background is beautiful and your transition of color and making HRE appear to be fading is highly impact and heart-breakingly gorgeous. The only other suggestion I can really give is to add more shading, or an overlay layer, with a darker hue, closer to the background, at least over Italy. If you had done an overlay with Italy (with exception of his hand) and the grass grey the piece could have had even more of an impact, with the idea of HRE appearing to say goodbye more prominent as well as the fact that HRE is magic/special/etc to be more obvious.

Impact: The impact is, as I've previously stated, huge. The concept of these characters saying goodbye in such a way is both perfect for their story-lines and the piece. If you have watched Hetalia, you'll understand the message nearly instantaneously, but, I believe that if I had not yet seen Hetalia, I still would have understood, simply due to the combination of the title and the artwork. It shows a beautiful goodbye. The way your drew HRE as content while Italy is, what appears to be a combination of crying/sobbing and trying to remember every detail of this moment, is a stark contrast within the piece and shows just how different, yet connected the two are.

I really enjoyed your artwork and I highly appreciate you posting it and sharing it with us all.
